Hero Siege Ebontharn

Hero Siege Ebontharn is Act 9, a free campaign act after Odin in Act 8.
The campaign world is Tarethiel,
under siege by the Forces of Hell. Season
10 made Act 8
free and part of natural campaign progression,
then opened Ebontharn as a new free base-game act. Reach it by clearing Act
8
and defeating Odin. Three Uber bosses ship with Season
10:
Phantom Leviathan,
Captain Grimtide,
and the Blood Maiden. Abyssal Chest is the seasonal lever-scaled fight on that same patch.

Act 8 and Odin

Act 8 access as of Season 10 is free. The boss named in Season 10 notes is Odin. Clearing Act 8 and defeating Odin unlocks Act 9
Ebontharn. That is the entire first-party act path published for this season:
not a numbered quest list,
not Acts
1–7
zone names. Walk the in-game campaign until Act
8
appears on the free path,
then treat Odin as the lock.

Season 10 made Act 8
part of natural campaign progression rather than a gated side chapter. If you last played before
21 August 2026, Act 8
is no longer a paid wall. Start there when you resume a seasonal hero,
then spend the Odin kill on Ebontharn instead of another town loop.

Season 10 made Act 8
free campaign progression. Odin is the boss named in those notes. Defeat Odin to open Act
9. Players returning from Season 9 walk the same campaign until Act 8
then spend the Odin kill on Ebontharn. This is not a paid side chapter anymore.

Act 9 Ebontharn

Act 9 (
Ebontharn) is a free base-game act in Season
10. Unlock requirement: defeat Odin in Act 8.
The official cinematic and Steam news use Ebontharn as both the act name and the season subtitle. Village of Mos'Arathim remains the settlement that hosts Tarethiel Market listings; Ebontharn is the new campaign beat after Odin,
not a rename of Mos'Arathim.

Play the official Ebontharn chapter on the home trailer for the act framing,
then run the act itself for layout. This page does not invent zone checklists for Acts
1–7. The sealed records are Act 8 and Act 9 plus their Odin relationship.

Ebontharn is both the act and the season subtitle. Mos'Arathim remains the market settlement. Official cinematic DtJGMYi-igw frames Act
9. Sealed records are Act 8 and Act 9
plus the Odin relation. Do not expect a first-party Acts
1–7 gazetteer on this page.

Ubers, Abyssal Chest, Inferno

Season 10
adds three Uber bosses:
Phantom Leviathan,
Captain Grimtide,
and the Blood Maiden. Abyssal Chest spawns up to five levers that scale a dangerous mob encounter and chest rewards. Pull levers only if you can take the scaled fight; the chest follows the encounter,
not the other way around.

After Normal,
waypoints are retained in Nightmare. Nightmare is described as Hell
1, Hell as roughly Hell 4.5,
then Inferno. Inferno is the endgame difficulty after Hell in that Season
10
rewrite. Ether quests feed from special Hell and Inferno content. Wormholes stay the seasonal cosmetic push on top of that difficulty ladder. Phantom Leviathan,
Captain Grimtide,
and the Blood Maiden are the three named Ubers; they are not substitutes for Odin. Odin remains the Act
8
boss that opens Ebontharn. Pull Abyssal Chest levers only after you can survive the scaled pack that those levers create.

Phantom Leviathan,
Captain Grimtide,
and the Blood Maiden are the three Ubers. Abyssal Chest levers scale a pack then a chest. Nightmare retains waypoints and is Hell
1; Hell is roughly Hell 4.5;
Inferno follows. Ether quests feed from Hell and Inferno. Wormholes stay cosmetic on that ladder.
