Hero Siege new player

A Hero Siege new player in Season 10
Ebontharn does not need a class DLC to begin. Pick from the official
24-
name roster,
spend points in two main skill trees,
then walk Tarethiel. Season
10 made Act 8
free and unlocked Marauder,
Plague Doctor,
Shield Lancer,
and J
ö
tunn as base-game classes; prior DLC owners received a premium skin. Act
9 Ebontharn opens after Odin in Act 8.
Link PanicNet to Steam or Google Play before you need the Market
—
unlinked accounts cannot trade. No official numbered tutorial quest list is published outside the in-game Adventure Journal.
Pick a class without a pack

The official website carousel lists 24 named classes. Season 10
notes state Marauder,
Plague Doctor,
Shield Lancer,
and J
ö
tunn are now free and part of the base game. Viking,
Pyromancer,
Marksman,
Pirate,
Nomad,
Redneck,
Necromancer,
and White Mage were already base on the official-site DLC flag. Remaining paid-dlc names include Samurai,
Paladin,
Amazon,
Demonslayer,
Demonspawn,
Shaman,
Illusionist,
Exo,
Butcher,
Stormweaver,
Bard,
and Prophet.
Viking is the class with a first-party site blurb:
forged in frost and fury,
charging with raw strength and primal rage. Prophet is Steam DLC
4204900,
a summoner,
mage,
and shapeshifter with Carrion Worm,
Ravens,
Ents,
Spirit of the Forest,
and Wendigo,
Ent,
or Storm Hawk forms. If you want a seasonal start tonight,
take a base-after-S
10 name and leave paid packs for later.
Viking,
Pyromancer,
Marksman,
Pirate,
Nomad,
Redneck,
Necromancer,
and White Mage were already base. The Season
10
four join them. Paid-dlc still includes Samurai,
Paladin,
Amazon,
Demonslayer,
Demonspawn,
Shaman,
Illusionist,
Exo,
Butcher,
Stormweaver,
Bard,
and Prophet. Bard is DLC
3305660. Butcher is 2735920. Stormweaver is 2799870.
Skip those packs for a first seasonal body.
Two trees before Incarnation
Steam about-the-game copy says you craft a hero through two main skill trees plus sub-skill trees that reshape every active ability. Item-based modifiers push those trees in unique directions. Do not wait for a public node dump; there is no first-party numeric planner. Spend on the two class trees during Acts
1–8, then treat Incarnation as a level-100 layer.
Incarnation opens at hero level 100;
each further hero level spends a point,
uncapped. Season
9 marketed 1600+ Incarnation nodes and Season 10 adds 600+.
Ether is a separate mechanics atlas fed by special Hell and Inferno quests. Season
10 adds 100+
Ether nodes and can guarantee mechanics with enough investment. Augments sit in the Adventure Journal with crafting and prospecting recipes.
Sub-skill trees rewrite actives. Item modifiers stack on those sub-skills. Incarnation is a level-
100 passive with Season 9 1600+ nodes and Season 10 +600,
uncapped points per hero level. Ether is a mechanics atlas with Season
9 400+ nodes and Season 10 +100
plus guaranteed mechanics. Glyphs do not return. Augments live in Adventure Journal with crafting and prospecting.
Act 8, Odin, Act 9
Season 10 made Act 8
free and part of natural campaign progression. The boss named in those notes is Odin. Defeating Odin unlocks Act
9
Ebontharn,
a new free base-game act. Acts
1–7
zone names are not first-party enumerated in Season
10
notes,
so they are not listed here as a fake map. Follow the in-game campaign until Act
8, then treat Odin as the gate.
Abyssal Chest is the Season 10
seasonal mechanic:
up to five levers scale a dangerous mob encounter and the chest that follows. Three Uber bosses ship with the season:
Phantom Leviathan,
Captain Grimtide,
and the Blood Maiden. After Normal,
waypoints are retained in Nightmare; Nightmare is described as Hell
1, Hell as roughly Hell 4.5, then Inferno.
Act 8
is free natural progression. Odin is the named Act
8 boss. Act 9
Ebontharn is the free follow-up. Abyssal Chest uses up to five levers on a scaled pack. Ubers are Phantom Leviathan,
Captain Grimtide,
and the Blood Maiden. Nightmare keeps waypoints and is called Hell
1; Hell is roughly Hell 4.5; Inferno is after Hell. Acts 1–7
zone names are not first-party listed here.
Link PanicNet on day one
From Season 7,
Hero Siege prompts PanicNet account linking to Steam or Google Play. Linked accounts keep Market,
mailbox,
trading,
and chat. Unlinked accounts cannot trade. Tarethiel Market is reached in the Village of Mos'Arathim and supports real-time listing and buying. Season
10
reworked market filters and shipped a marketplace film.
Season 9 notes say items and gold are 100%
server-authoritative to block duping. Steam Family Share was disabled because cheaters used it to bypass bans. Co-op categories on Steam include online co-op,
shared or split-screen co-op,
and cross-platform multiplayer. Link the account before you find a Satanic you want to list.
The Portal devlog is the linking source. Mos'Arathim hosts Tarethiel Market. Season
10
reworked filters and shipped a marketplace film. Server-authoritative loot from Season
9
is why the board can exist. Family Share disable is a
2025
Steam news fact. Co-op still runs on Steam categories without that link,
but trades do not.
What to read after the first death
Steam copy claims 1000+
unique items across Magic,
Satanic,
Set,
Heroic,
Angelic,
and Unholy,
plus Runewords on white socketed bases. Season
10
adds Relic Storage so relics swap in inventory at any time,
plus
24
new uniques. Use the Adventure Journal as the encyclopedia while you run; this page does not invent unique names.
Wormholes are seasonal push content for skins,
wings,
and portraits,
not a second paid campaign. The US Steam price at capture is
$7.99 for the base game on Windows 10 64-bit and Ubuntu 22.04 LTS 64-
bit,
with Steam Deck Playable. PlayStation
5 launched with Season 9 on 3 April 2026.
Pocket Edition is a different Google Play SKU. Steam audio is English; interface languages include Finnish,
Portuguese-Brazil,
Russian,
Simplified Chinese,
Japanese,
Korean,
German,
French,
Spanish-Spain,
and Polish. Controller support is listed on the Steam page. After the first death,
open Adventure Journal rather than a third-party unique list,
then come back to the class filter if the body you rolled feels wrong for Act
8.
